The Players Club of Swarthmore presents My Cousin Rachel February 15 - March 3

For Immediate Release: January 21, 2007
Media Contact: Kristy Chen, The Players Club of Swarthmore, 610.328.4271

The Players Club of Swarthmore is celebrating Valentine's Day with a love story...albeit an unconventional one. My Cousin Rachel is an old-fashioned English mystery based on a novel by Daphne du Maurier.

Philip Ashley inherits his uncle's mansion after the man's unexpected death. But did he die of natural causes? Philip suspects his uncle's new bride of foul play, until she charms him to the point of obsession.

Director Tanya Lazar of Arden, Delaware brings this haunting tale to the stage with an outstanding cast. Jennifer Summerfield and Seth Stocking of Philadelphia head up the troupe as Rachel and Philip Ashley; with Ed Gretz of Lansdowne, Elizabeth Muschelli of Aston, James Reese of Phoenixville, Richard Scocca of Glen Mills and Ryan Stone of Springfield.

My Cousin Rachel runs February 15-18, 22-25 and March 1-3. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 8pm and Sunday matinées are at 2pm. The Players Club of Swarthmore is located just minutes from the Blue Route and I-95 at 614 Fairview Avenue in Swarthmore. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students (18 and under or college students with ID) and are available in advance by phone or online. To purchase tickets visit www.pcstheater.org or call 1-866-811-4111 (ticket sales through TheaterMania). For Info or Group Sales: 610-328-4271.
