Luna Theater Company Presents Sam Shepard's Obie Award Winning Fool for Love, May 20-June 12, 2005

From the folks who brought you this season's huge hit, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf comes the long-awaited revival of this modern theatrical classic!

Luna Theater Company concludes their highly successful third season with the Philadelphia revival of Sam Shepard's riveting drama Fool for Love. Fool for Love previews May 19th, opens May 20th, and runs through June 12th, 2005. Summary - In a motel room on the edge of the Mojave Desert, May and Eddie, two estranged lovers, engage in a modern-day showdown of biting words, dark memories and torn egos, ultimately revealing an undying love that has long been tangles in a forbidden secret. Alternately shocking and hilarious, Sam Shepard's Fool for Love is a “western for our time.”

Luna History - The Luna Theater is a 501c(3) non-profit professional theater company dedicated to presenting the Philadelphia and South Jersey area with thought-provoking works by contemporary and classical playwrights. We seek to develop an audience of open-minded theatergoers that cross cultural, ethnic and social lines by producing drama that is intense, challenging, educational and entertaining. Founded in 2002, The Luna Theater Company is gaining a reputation in Philadelphia for reviving classic and modern plays.
