The Ritz Theatre, located on US 30 in Camden County, NJ has delighted in providing Delaware Valley audiences with entertainment and access to the arts. This spring the Ritz Theatre presents "I Do! I Do!" the musical the New York Posts calls "touching, amusing and truly endearing" Performances run April 21 - May 21, 2005.

The story of a marriage is at the center of this touching and nostalgic work by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, the authors of "The Fantasticks." The show opens in 1898 with the young and inexperienced Michael and Agnes on their wedding day and traces their lives together over a period of fifty years until the day they leave their house to the next set of newlyweds. From wedding night jitters to mid life crisis, we watch them sing and dance through every phase and touching moment of musical comedy.

The production is cast with two sets couples portraying the newlyweds who will alternate performances. Cast members portraying Agnes and Michael are: Kimberly Curless of Oaklyn and Tom Orr of Morrisville, PA. Kimberly was last seen in the Ritz production of "A Little Night Music." Tom has appeared in many theatrical productions throughout the Delaware Valley. This is his first Ritz appearance. Maureen Corson of Blackwood and Greg Krywusha of Runnemede. Greg and Maureen were last seen together on the Ritz stage in the roles of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler in "Annie Get Your Gun." Maureen also performed in last month's "Some Enchanted Evening."

Lighting design by Shawn McGovern of Laurel Springs with sound by John Zettlemoyer of Audubon. Vocal and musical direction by Andre Vermeulen of Voorhees.

Performances: April 21 - May 21, 2005. Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm ($22.00) and Sundays at 2 pm ($17). Wednesday, May 4 & 18 at 7:30 pm ($17).
