The Show Must Go On, Arden Theatre Company's first interactive theatre gala, will take place on Sunday, April 10 at 5:30pm. This event commemorates the tenth anniversary of the Arden's home in Old City and celebrates all those who are part of the Arden's family. Guests will become the actors, technicians and backstage crew and discover what it's like to be a part of creating live theatre.

The Show Must Go On will be held at Arden Theatre Company at 40 N. 2nd Street. The evening's festivities begin at 5:30pm with a tour of the building and a trip through a collection of interactive theatre activities. Guests will stroll down memory lane through some of their favorite Arden moments and experience the inner workings of the Arden first hand, from the catwalks to the green room to the basement and everywhere in between.

The Show Must Go On continues at 7:00pm with a sumptuous sit-down dinner designed by Ben Vozzo, executive chef of Catering by Design. Décor will be provided by Evantine Design with table decorations conceived by Saint James Shatzer. Dinner will be accompanied by an exciting cabaret-style show featuring many favorite Arden actors, as well as gala guests who will live out their thespian fantasies in various cameo roles. Guest artists include Tony Braithwaite, Jennifer Childs, Jeffrey Coon, Mary Martello, Michael Ogborn, and many others. A live auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences donated by the Arden's family of theatre artists will follow the performance. Two of these auction packages include a trip to New York City to sit in on auditions with Amy Dugas Brown and Terrence J. Nolen and box seats for a Camden Riversharks game with some of the Arden's favorite actors and all-around hams.

Co-chairs of this event are Ellen Foster, Elizabeth H. Gemmill, Ronna Hall and Lee van de Velde. Arden board members, regional philanthropists, Governor Ed Rendell, Action News Sports Director Gary Papa and many members of the Arden family are expected to attend.

Tickets prices for the event are $175 for patrons and $325 for host committee members, who will cast themselves in the event. To order tickets, call the Arden box office at 215.922.1122 or visit www.ardentheatre.org.
